Evolution is underway at Airport Dimensions, with two women at the helm of a diverse leadership team who are driving growth and innovation in the airport lounge and experiences sector across the Americas. Airport Dimensions specializes in designing, building, and operating shared-use lounges and airport experiences. With 27 airport lounge locations in the Americas. and nearly 50 globally, the company uses a mix of physical experiences and digital services to offer respite to travelers in the crowded and sometimes harried airport environment. Mignon Buckingham, CEO, is leading the expansion of Airport Dimensions at the global level, while Nancy Knipp, President, Americas, is overseeing the robust development of and expansion in the Americas, with particular focus on the U.S. market. Together, the two leaders see opportunities to reimagine airport hospitality.

“In the Americas, we have multiple avenues where we’re growing,” says Knipp, noting specifically the company’s own branded lounges as well as partnerships such as its recently inked deal with JPMorgan Chase for Chase Sapphire co-branded lounges. The outlook is strong as the U.S. market returns to vibrancy. “Specifically in the U.S., the trajectory is quite strong for growth in the next 18 months to two years and beyond, almost doubling where we are today,” she adds. Globally, Airport Dimensions is expanding with unique experiences such as gaming lounges and sleeping pods, and is offering digital solutions to help streamline the passenger experiences. “We want to make the journey a lot less fragmented for the traveler and a lot more enjoyable,” says Buckingham. “Research after research points to the fact that happy customers spend more. So expanding the experience - digitally and physically - for our guests will also drive more revenue for our airport partners.”
