Andrew Zimmern is a James Beard Award-winning chef, Emmy-winning television personality and the founder and CEO of Intuitive Content and Passport Hospitality. As the 2023 Airport Experience Conference Keynote Speaker, he took to the stage on day two to speak on a subject about which he’s very passionate: reducing food waste.

Zimmern began by discussing his personal journey in the food world, including the genesis of his most well known and acclaimed show Bizarre Foods . “Before I get into what I want to talk to you about today, I feel the need to give you my bona fides,” he said. “I have a lot of experience in the TV world but I’ve never stopped being a part of the food world.”
