SCHMOOZING IT UP Airports and Concessionaires Connect In Popular Session The wildly popular Schmooze sessions were back in full force at the 2023 Airport Experience Conference.

Airport representatives sat at assigned meeting tables while operators and vendors rotated through, speed-dating style. Concessionaires and other “schmoozers” were allowed to book four meetings in advance. For those who wanted more, a bonus line helped ensure that those without appointments could connect with available airports. Each meeting lasted just seven minutes – perhaps not enough to seal a deal but enough to make a first (or second or third…) impression. A record 40 airports were represented in the Schmooze room. With 11 individual time slots and 40 participating airports, that means more than 400 meetings were completed over the course of just two hours!
