For these units, the airport is seeking unique concepts—not traditional food and beverage or retail. Ivy Silva, procurement manager for Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), discussed two main opportunities at the airport. The first opportunity entails two post-security food and beverage spaces - one is 300 square feet and the other is 650 square feet - in Terminal 4 that are appropriate for café or grab and go concepts that don’t require cooking space. Part of this opportunity also includes several post-security locations for automated retail and food and beverage. The second opportunity is in airport consulting services. PHX is looking to contract with an experienced consulting firm to conduct an industry trend analysis
